About Our Host
Lindsay Friedman
Lindsay began her career as a nursing assistant, working in memory care, assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospice settings. Her professional background became personal when she became her grandmother’s primary caregiver, giving her firsthand experience with the challenges families face when navigating caregiving and long-term care.
She later became a cross-generational caregiver, supporting her parents while also caring for her chronically ill daughter. These experiences shaped her approach to care planning and gave her a unique understanding of the emotional, financial, and practical decisions families must make.
Lindsay is an entrepreneur and the author of Plan Today, Protect Tomorrow. She founded CareBloom, a caregiving support tool, and LTCareNav, a care navigation and life care planning platform that helps families understand long-term care options, prepare for future needs, and connect with trusted professionals before a crisis occurs.
